However, from the various installation patterns that can be formed, certainly have different impacts on flooding. Infiltration parameters and concentration time. In this study, the phi-index method was used to determine the volume of rainwater lost due to infiltration. The test sample is in the form of an area of 4 m2 with paving block pavement. For the installation pattern used, namely stacking bricks and herringbone 45o. From the two patterns, different fillers are given, which are normal and fine. The 4 samples were tested based on several slope conditions ranging from 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%. In the field, the use of paving blocks can reduce flooding by nearly 60%. This of course has an impact on the cost of the drainage channel. In the ITB-Jatinangor parking lot, the cost needed to make a drainage channel with the paving block is Rp 375.199.320,00. text
