Summary: | Since Pandemic Covid19 significantly spread globally and hugely affect the
whole aspects of life, Government published limitation policies including in Education
Sector. These policies affect anxieties of parents towards education services and their
children’s development. Thus, the research would figure out the current internal and
external conditions of SMPS Islam Annur Prima, to reveal root cause analysis, to know
what are the insights of customers on what are their jobs to be done, their pains and
gains. This research would utilize both qualitative and quantitative methods, where the
qualitative method to reveal the customer profile by conducting interviews with parents
as school’s paying customer and quantitative methods by utilize questionnaire
survey to obtain feedback on the proposed the design of value map. The result reveals
most parents that want their children to be an entrepreneur has jobs to obtain Islamic
Knowledge and apply it to their children daily basis, provide positive environment to
grow, discover talents and develop it, as well as having confidence and able to communicate
well to others. Meanwhile, pains to fulfill the jobs are, difficult to find mentors,difficult to find place
to observe and practice, unable to connect with the proper mentors, have jobs and other children
to take care of, time limitation, access to the location and financial issues. To help parents fulfill their
jobs with pains and gains, the design of value map would be proposed by conducting integrative academic
program to foster entrepreneurship knowledges and skills of the students by using Islamic values, talents
and strength principles in conducting the program. Parents then give feedbacks on the program prototype,
where the results are parents show positive response with some suggestions such as improving facilities and infrastructures, developing teachers and mentors’ guidance and collaborate with parents as additional mentors. |
