Summary:Port of Tanjung Priok is the largest port in Indonesia. As the largest port in Indonesia, Tanjung Priok Port has the most complete facilities to accommodate loading and unloading demands which are increasing every year along with the increase in trade volume. However, with the increasing demand of loading and unloading additional facilities are needed to support future market demand, especially to meet the demand for loading and unloading of liquid bulk. In this final project, we will discuss the design of the dolphin type bulk liquid berth structure for the Product Terminal 1 liquid bulk terminal of Tanjung Priok Port based on the criteria and design standards that is used. The topic in this final project includes environmental data processing, calculation of the loading and dimensions of the pier, planning the dimensions of the structural elements of the pier, calculating the need for reinforcement, and calculating the bearing capacity of the soil. The planned ship to be served by the berth has a tonnage between 3000 DWT to 160,000 DWT. The dimensions of the pier are determined based on the loads acting on the pier. Structural modeling was carried out using SAP2000 software which produced UCR values between 0.8 to 1 and internal forces for structural element reinforcement planning. Calculation of the bearing capacity of the soil is carried out to obtain the depth of the pile piling of the pier. The results of this final project are the dimensions of the pier, the dimensions of the pier structural elements, the reinforcement of the pier structural elements, and the piling depth of the pier piles.
