It consides the interdependency between time tabling and vehicle assignment process.<br /><br />In optimisation process, some routing schemes are introduced. they are Turn Around Trips, Interlining Trips and Deadheading Trips as well as Shifting Departure Time.<br /><br />By having the mathematical optimisation model, a software prototype is developed to achieve the optimal value for both waiting time and fleet size considering the schemes. This program is named UMTS (Urban Mass Transport Systems).<br /><br />The analysis and design of the UMTS software prototype use Structured Methode (Data Flow Oriented) and they are implemented by using Borland Delphi Version 2.0 Compiler under Windows 95.<br /><br /> text
