Holding the title of the second largest polluter industry after oil, one of the wastes produced by this industry is textile waste. In this modern era, with fashion as a lifestyle and fast fashion as an economic model, escalation of textile waste production is unavoidable. Meanwhile, textile materials are not designed to be biodegradable, and with the chemical content they carry, leaving them without proper management can threaten environmental sustainability. To respond to this problem, the concept of sustainable fashion is juxtaposed as an approach that can bring change through its mindset that prioritizes product durability and long-term use. In Bandung City, which has a history and excellence in the fashion sector, the increasing consumption of clothing and increasingly promising sector competencies have raised curiosity about the situation of textile waste management practices in the context of sustainable fashion. The results of a descriptive analysis of 300 sample population questionnaires supported by the results of a qualitative analysis of the results of interviews with representatives from government and business actors indicate that the community has shown real action in managing textile waste which also shows awareness and concern for this issue. However, existing attitudes and behaviors are not based on adequate knowledge. The results of the association analysis show that these three factors of community acceptance are correlated with each other, and all three are also influenced by the socioeconomic conditions of the community. Thus, the opportunity to live a sustainable lifestyle becomes increasingly difficult when obstacles in the structure of people's lives still exist. However, by taking appropriate actions that take into account the existing situation, the desired change is not impossible for Bandung City. text
