Summary:In the last few years PT. Timah is starting to improve its productivity by opening several new inland mining locations. Several of which are inland mine for primary tin such as XYZ site. This location will be mined by conventional method using excavators and trucks. PT. Timah tries to analyze mineplan design that can be applied to XYZ mine, in order to fulfill its production target. This research is done to support that study by using existing secondary data. Mine pit aperture design was done with Datamine Studio 3 software based on data results of XYZ site study that was done by P2P and exploration department of PT. Timah (Persero) Tbk. until the time of this study was conducted (July 2012). Final mining pit design result provides 6.950.500 BCM total which is include ore production as much as 4.254.200 m3 grading 0,718 kg Sn/m3. Total tin tonnage from jig output that is targeted by PT. Timah for XYZ mine is 2.500 ton, while author made model generate 3.053 ton, an excess of 553 ton is gotten. Equipment necessity to mine XYZ mine are two excavators average for overburden and three for ore for every year, each of which needs four untill five trucks.
