Summary:Waikaka bridge is one of the strategic bridge and connecting three district in Seram Island. At 2019, That bridge was cut off because flooding and causing economy activity cut off. The broken bridge has been built and finished in 2021. Scour protection should bee add as preventive measure of scour control. Design of scour protection is using peak discharge 5 year return period of 756.3 m3/s and baseflow discharge of 11.49 m3/s so that the total discharge is 767.79 m3/s. The result of maximum potency scour depth is 5.16 m at left Abutment and 8.53 m at right Abutment . Alternative design will be used are Rip-rap and Gabion. The cost will be need for rip-rap is Rp.1,246,393,964 and gabion is Rp.1,766,749,192. So that for scour protection will be chosen is rip-rap.
