starting to vary. Slowly, manual invitations in print format are now being abandoned. Invitations
in digital format are also an option and are favored by many couples who are getting married.
The composition of invited guests in Indonesian society consists of several generations, namely
the baby boomer generation, generation X, and generation Y. The third generation also has
different views on digital wedding invitations. The baby boomers and some generations* consider
digital wedding invitations to be impolite. They prefer physical printed invitations because they
are used to it. This generation also sees that digital wedding invitations use an international
invitation style and rarely show the cultural identity of the couple getting married. The design of
a digital wedding invitation template website uses the design thinking method approach. This
method consists of several stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. The
empathy process uses questionnaires and interviews. The respondent's questionnaire consisted of
92 people with an age range of 25 to 35 years, had middle to upper economic levels and came
from educated circles. In the selection process, it was found that users needed several digital
wedding invitation templates with international and traditional nuances. It is designed to be
interactive, user friendly, and has customizable features. Furthermore, the idea generation
process was carried out based on an analysis of the define process, namely the design of a digital
wedding invitation template mobile website. This research was created to meet the needs of
generation Y for digital wedding invitations that are simple, cheap, easy and become a transition
medium for invited guests from the baby boomers generation and some of the X generation. Based
on the usability testing that was carried out, it can be written that the digital wedding invitation
website templates have been according to user needs but there are still minor deficiencies
contained in the presentation of the font. |
