The author wishes to celebrate this fusion through terracotta ceramic works. Furthermore, it is represented through the traditional method of serving food, and by combining it with modern food products. To show the duality of tradition and modernity in food, the author created works using terracotta ceramics and found objects made with wicker. Terracotta ceramics as a manifestation of human life's ever-changing journey. The sincere and honest form of terracotta as a representation of something traditional, but also primordial. Wicker is also present as a traditional language of traditional dining culture as a container for terracotta. The representation of modern food products demonstrates the contrasting side of modern food. text |
