Summary: | Perceptions about childhood experience distort as a person grow older, which caused by
continuously renewing perspectives about the world around them. This work discussed about how
to convey a shift in perspective resulting from re-reading childhood memories, and using them to
live an adult life. The work is conveyed through three forms of drawing work, each of which
represents the historical development of the medium's statement: drawing as a sketch, drawing as
an autonomous work, and the understanding of expanded drawing. The visualization of the work
borrows the characteristics of children's drawings, then gradually abstracts them into more
expressive forms. The work invites us to look back at a very universal concept, namely childhood
experience, parenting style, and the impressions of it. Where experience has an impact, and the
dimension of time becomes a space for exploration in formulating a mixture of self-identity |
