This company is in the process of digital transformation for both its internal process and external process (supplier related). As one of the steps of this transformation, this company needs to map the digitalization level of its own and its suppliers. For this reason, this company needs a digital maturity measurment tools to assess both its own maturity level and its suppliers. The goal of this research is to develop a digital maturity model and measures the maturity of manufacturing companies in automtoive industry. The proposed model were developed based on manufacturer’s internal and external processes. The model then transformed into a measurement tool in the form of an online survey questionnaire. This questionnaire was send to six inhouse X Ltd. respondens and forty X Ltd. tier-1 pemasok respondens. Validation process of measurement results are done by proposing three alternatives measurement results to X Ltd. representatives. Then, two of the alternatives results were selected representing two differenct digital maturity in two production plants of X Ltd.. Results shows that there are digital maturity gaps between X Ltd. and its tier-1 supplier. It can be conluded that nore than fifty percent of X Ltd. tier-1 suppliers have the proses infrastructure to support digital transformation effortts. Using cluster analysis three different clusters of suppliers were identified. These supplier clusters have distinct digital maturity characteristics. From this finding the relevant digital transformation roadmap for X Ltd. is proposed according to each supplier cluster characteristics. text
