Method: The subjects in this study were students of SDN Luginasari and SDN Linggabudi grade 6 who went to school in a polluting environment. The analysis carried out for physical activity was measured using the Quistionnare- Children (PAQ-C) Physical Activity questionnaire, for the measurement of lung vital capacity with the SP10 Spirometer, while for the analysis of potential ARI events using the ISPA event questionnaire. Results: The scores of the physical activity questionnaire results at the time of the post-test (0.75) at SDN Luginasari and (0.89) at SDN Linggabudi had a large number of values compared to the time of pre-test measurements (0.57) and (0.74). increase in vital lung capacity during post-test (FVC1.82 FEV11.65) and (FVC 1.91 FEV11.77) at SDN Linggabudi as well as a decrease in potential ARI of 16% at SDN Luginasari and 14% at SDN Linggabudi. Conclusion: This study shows that exposure to Particular Matter 2.5 air pollution can be minimized by increasing the amount of physical activity, this can occur due to an increase in the vital capacity of the lungs to prevent the onset of various diseases that can attack the respiratory system. one of the respiratory diseases that can be prevented is Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI). text |
