The event of Company’s re-organization where the previous team who handled the Drilling preparation work on RK 2021 was moved from the Bunyu EP5 area and no proper handover to the new team, including the work contracts of heavy equipment and preparation of drilling area. RK 2022 of Drilling work where the construction time frame between wells is not ideal as in 2021 (before reorganization) where the standard is 90 days then change which in average of 55 days. The company has the potential to suffer losses due to delays in mobilizing of Rig equipment to the drilling area with may cost a daily fee of USD 24,736. The purpose of the project is expected to improve the process of Construction Drilling Well preparation execution completed as per plan which the goal is to satisfy the stake holders in quality and speed. The impact of this improvement will provide benefit to Company to increase the amount of readiness Drilling well per year that finally can give higher chance of production gain yearly and avoiding additional cost of idle time due late of preparation on Drilling Well.
With reference to Pertamina's Quality Management System policy, which one of them is through CIP, where the main essence of CIP is a method of solving work problems that are oriented towards Value Creation. CIP is not only pursuing achievements or the winner, because in fact this is can call as a series of Knowledge Sharing so that work problems can be solved. Pertamina invites the participants to continue to contribute as Pertamina personnel who encourage innovation, creativity, and initiative for the sake of continuous improvement which is believed that in the near future Pertamina will be able to take part in the international arena through Innovation.
One of the methods that commonly use on CIP is implementation of Six-Sigma method, they are DefineMeasure-Analyze-Improve-Control (DMAIC), that on this Project applied to Construction work process. Define phase is to find out the symptom of problems from existing situation and the plan whether the problem is existed or not by voice of customer (stake holders) and existing data. Measurement phase is collecting data, group meeting to identified the problems by observation, quantitative, and qualitative. Analyze phase is finding the root cause of the problem by the fishbone, CRT and FMEA. To eliminate waste (duration more than 55 days considered waste) from the existing process before improvement, the trial has been conducted through the direct execution with the improvement process (eliminate waste, conduct some process in parallel, use some technology i.e. compound to shorten the curing time to improve the process) that has been agreed and doable using the current resources (Workers, Tools and Equipment’s) and Work Contract due no time to change the Scope of Work and Drilling schedule which is conducted on Improvement phase. At last, the Control

phase is the process to monitoring and make sure the implementation of the improvement plan, data collection and updating the project result.
The improvement process has been successfully implemented at OSF – Construction Management during trial phase during Q3-Q4 2021 on the three well acceleration, they area B-1718B, B-1910B & B1901B and the Implementation the 2022 work Plan starting on well B-2102 Q4 2021 until cut off record data on July/August 2022 on well B-2220. Drilling well preparation Construction lead time has been improved 48.88% compare to base line process 90 days to 46 days in average which the target is 55 days during trial phase. Furthermore, on the implementation phase, drilling well preparation Construction lead time has been improved 44.44% compare to base line process 90 days to 50 days in average which the target is 55 days, with limitation that the 55 days target only applicable for existing cluster, not new area where the work activities started from road access construction and next sequential until foundation work can be started. With this improvement, Company has no suffer of the additional cost that may rise due the late of Drilling Well Preparation, beside saving IDR 26.581.847.235 or 25.54% from the potential budgeted cost provided + Rig idle time. In addition, Company gains Value Creation from the actual Rig-Up compare to plan in the amount of IDR 29.142.253.350, -. Daily monitoring applied to control the continuous performance consistence for the rest |
