From this registration program, the result is an image from fusion of the two input images and with comparing the image input and output, then we calculate the RMSE with MATLAB software. The method that is used in this registration program is Normalized Mutual Information and for the spatial transformation, we will use Rigid Body Transformation. Several parameters such as histogram bin, initial radius, and epsilon will be varied in order to find the affect of the change causes to the result of image registration. text |

Image registration is a process in finding spatial transformation which mapped
points from one image to other homologous points in another image. In this final
project, a registration program from different modality, which are CT-PET and
MRI-PET, will be made with ITK software. ITK has provided examples for
registration program that easy to modify according to the user’s need which is in
this final project, it is the output part that was modified.
From this registration program, the result is an image from fusion of the two input
images and with comparing the image input and output, then we calculate the
RMSE with MATLAB software.
The method that is used in this registration program is Normalized Mutual
Information and for the spatial transformation, we will use Rigid Body
Transformation. Several parameters such as histogram bin, initial radius, and
epsilon will be varied in order to find the affect of the change causes to the result
of image registration. |
