Description
Summary:As an agrarian country, the development of the agricultural sector in Indonesia is one of the crucial aspects of the welfare of farmers and society. Lynam (1994), as cited by Sumarno (2018), explains that agriculture is a multi-dimensional business, including economics, ful?llment of basic human needs, moral obligations to meet the needs of life, obligations for environmental and resource conservation, and sustainability of production systems. Each of this dimensions often has different directions, interests, and objectives. This makes agricultural planning that satis?es the various objectives of farming a dif?cult process for farmers to undertake. In this paper, we formulate several goal programming model variants that can optimize multiple farmer objectives simultaneously. The results of the models are then analyzed and presented as recommendations for plans that are suitable for farmers’ conditions.
