The secondary fenomena which result vibration be familiar with Vortex Induced Vibration (VIV). VIV will occurred in freespan pipeline condition. VIV will be impact to fatigue life of pipeline structure. This thesis will discuss the basic consideration involved in a freespan and fatigue approach for the design and analysis of offshore pipeline structure. From the result, it is shown the relationship between e/D and VIV effect. Also it is shown that major fatigue damage effect of VIV consequence from current load. text |
