Summary: | Mount Ciremai National Park (TNGC) SPTN Region I Kuningan is a nature conservation area in
Kuningan Regency which is managed by dividing it into several zoning and used for scientific
purposes, supporting cultivation, and tourism. Several sub-districts in Kuningan Regency which are
included in the TNGC area have been developed into many tourist objects because they have an
abundance of nature which can be a tourist attraction. Tourism development needs to be supported
by 4A components which consist of attraction, amenities, accessibility, and ancillary tourism and
pay attention to the preservation of nature and the surrounding environment so that bad influences
can be avoided from tourism activities by using the concept of ecotourism which can provide benefits
to the environment, local communities, and tourists. In this study, data collection was carried out
consisting of secondary data resulting from literature studies and primary data collected through
observation and conducting interviews with relevant stakeholders. Qualitative descriptive analysis
and 4A analysis were used to analyze the 4A components which consist of attraction, amenity,
accessibility, and ancillary. Content analysis is used to identify criteria for tourism development in
the National Park based on the concept of ecotourism originating from reliable sources. SOAR
analysis is an analysis that uses an Appreciative Inquiry approach in the form of positive questions
to explore the desired values of strengths, opportunities and expectations to develop a tourism
development strategy in this area based on the concept of ecotourism in component 4A. Based on
the results of the 4A component analysis and the criteria for developing tourism in the National
Park based on the concept of ecotourism, the strengths, opportunities, aspirations, and results are
obtained in formulating development strategies using SOAR analysis that can be applied in tourism
development in this region and 17 strategies are produced, namely regarding: increasing,
optimizing, and creatively and innovatively integrating tourist objects and tourism supporting
infrastructure; strengthening cooperation and coordination through a collaborative approach
between stakeholders; empowering local communities and providing education to tourists through
a persuasive approach; and guided by the rules and regulations for development in national parks
to be able to maintain the function of the area as a nature conservation area. |
