Summary: | The district air conditioning and hot water supplying system, also known as the district energy system, is an alternative to the currently available systems to fulfill the human needs for comfort. This research is carried out to study the investment feasibilty for a designed district energy sytem that is desired to save energy and expenses. A cost-benefit analysis of the district energy system is conducted then to be compared with those of conventional systems. The energy's selling price is based on the savings achieved by district systems, therefore the customers will obtain a much more economical charge compared to the conventional system. The selling price for the district air conditioning system is fixed at Rp. 330.000,00 per month per TR, while the selling price for the district hot water system is rated at Rp. 26,00 per litre. Based on annual cash flow derived from profit results after tax, an investment feasibility analysis is done with several methods. Analysis results shows four years payback period and break even point can be attained after the fifth year; while for the project's final age, after 20 years; a Net Present Value of Rp.178.404.125.470,03, Internal Rate Return of 33%, and a profitability index of 3,986 is acquired, hence the system is considered feasible to be applicated. <br />
