Description
Summary:The development of a transportation infrastructure megaproject is a large-scale system, both in terms of physical dimensions and funding, and is equipped with components with complex relationships or interrelationships. The components include reach, duration, cost, movement and risk, various actors, controversial, rules and values. One of these components has an important role in the successful development of a transportation infrastructure megaproject, namely the stakeholders involved. Stakeholders themselves include individuals and organizations that have a role and involvement in carrying out or influencing the implementation of a transportation infrastructure megaproject development. Therefore, analysis and analysis of the role and involvement of stakeholders involved in the implementation of the development of transportation infrastructure megaprojects is important for the implementation of the development of transportation infrastructure megaprojects so that it can occur properly. The construction of the Patimban Port transportation infrastructure mega project is one of the projects that have been designated as a National Strategic Project located in Subang Regency, West Java Province. The construction of the transportation infrastructure megaproject at Patimban Port consists of three stages involving stakeholders from various groups, both domestic and foreign, through a foreign grant cooperation scheme from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). This study aims to find out the stakeholders involved, the roles of the stakeholders, the patterns of interaction between stakeholders, and to assess the level of interest and level of strength of the various stakeholders involved in the construction of a transportation infrastructure megaproject at Patimban Port. For this reason, various analytical approaches are used, including descriptive analysis methods, content analysis, social network analysts with UCINET software, and a power versus interest matrix. The results of this study indicate that the Patimban Port transportationiv infrastructure megaproject is currently still in the construction or construction stage which is targeted to be completed in 2027, but has now started operating partially since 2020. The implementation of its construction involves various stakeholders including elements of the government , non-government, and foreign parties. Stakeholders who have key roles with a high level of interest and power are dominated by the central government, but this is inseparable from the support and cooperation of all stakeholders involved in the implementation of the construction of the Patimban Port transportation infrastructure megaproject.
