Linear regression material should not be something new for teachers because it has been obtained during their undergraduate education. Based on an initial survey of 26 teachers, it was found that 43 percent of high school mathematics teachers tended not to know linear regression material. This prompted an analysis of the concept of linear regression and the development of a teaching guide module on linear regression at the high school level. The purpose of this project is to provide exposure to the concept analysis of linear regression, develop a teaching guide module for linear regression material and see how effective the use of module material is. The module created not only simple linear regression but also linear regression with k predictors and one response. This module development uses the ADDIE model, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The data analysis used is descriptive statistics, paired t-test, and N-gain. The results obtained from the analysis of the concept of linear regression, namely the history of regression, simple linear regression, linear regression, linear regression in matrix representation, mapping the prerequisite material needed to learn linear regression, and the development of a high school linear regression teaching guide module with the ADDIE model is feasible for teachers to use and which is categorized as quite effective for 56 percent. text |
