Large data volume resulted from multibeam survey, makes manually data processing become inefficient. Therefore, it needs computer hardware and software specifically built for multibeam data processing. One of the software is Caris HIPS (Computer Aided Resource Information System, Hydrographic Information Processing System). This thesis discuss the ability of multibeam data processing through modules which provided by HIPS software. text
