Summary: | The success of Museum Revitalization can be seen from the increasing public interest in visiting
museums, both for study, research and recreation, expanding the function and role of the museum in
society. The increase in visitors coming to the museum has resulted in more vulnerability to damage to
the museum collection due to carelessness of visitors. Based on the data collected, the visiting etiquette
at each museum is broadly the same, with small differences that can be asked to the information center
in the museum. A summary of museum visiting etiquette can be compiled in one medium that young
potential visitors can read and understand prior to visiting the museum. Museum etiquette is closely
related to the interaction between visitors and the museum, and interactions between visitors that can
also affect the museum. Museum etiquette that applies to museum visitors, among others, the use of
cameras, restrictions on visitor interaction with museum objects, visitor attitudes while inside the
museum, and visitor luggage. |
