Summary: | DKI Jakarta, as the capital city of Indonesia, continues to be the destination of urbanization
because of its various attractions. On the other hand, DKI Jakarta has not been separated
yet from the problem of slums. The Administrative City of North Jakarta, as the biggest
contributor of slums in DKI Jakarta has fishing villages on its coastal area as an evidence
of slum settlements. According to the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, one of
the fishing villages, which is a slum area, is Kampung Nelayan Cilincing, which is located
in RW 04, Cilincing Subdistrict. Even so, some times things that happen in the community
can be different from the government assesment. Also, many factors can affect whether an
area is a slum. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the livability of Kampung Nelayan
Cilincing based on the basic settlement infrastructure. Five basic settlement infrastructures
are discussed, including roads, clean water, wastewater, drainage, and solid waste.
Starting from formulating livable criteria for basic settlement infrastructure, identifying
the priority of basic settlement infrastructure criteria for livability, and analyzing the
livability of Kampung Nelayan Cilincing. The research started by collecting data from
related agencies, agency interviews, community interviews, AHP questionnaires,
community questionnaires, and observation. After that, continue processing the data
through content analysis, AHP analysis, and qualitative descriptive and scoring analysis.
It is found that the Kampung Nelayan Cilincing is quite livable, and from the scoring
analysis, it is classified as high livability. But, Kampung Nelayan Cilincing is not yet fully
livable from various existing indicators, such as the unavailability of pedestrian paths and
greenery on the roads, the unavailability of the communal fire hydrant, domestic
wastewater is still discharged into the environment, drainage and wastewater channels are
still integrated, and there is no waste segregation and implementation of 3R at the
household scale. |
