Description
Summary:At the Water Treatment Plant ITB Jatinangor, the conventional water treatment process includes intake, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection, and reservoir stages. However, with the implementation of the master plan for ITB's Jatinangor Campus, a review of the existing Water Treatment Plant's capacity is necessary. Various issues often arise in the water treatment plant, such as insufficient water demand, instrument malfunctions and errors, and a decline in the quality of the treated water. Human errors may also lead to accidents, such as distribution pipe leaks and discrepancies between production and distribution data. To address these problems, it is essential to assess whether the implemented systems and processes comply with the applicable regulations. Therefore, the evaluation and suggestions provided are expected to serve as inputs for improving the Water Treatment Plant ITB Jatinangor, both for personal development and the advancement of the surrounding environment
