One notable example of technological progress is the emergence of social crowdfunding platforms, which have revolutionized the way donations are made. However, the integration of in-kind donation features, specifically donating goods, remains relatively limited on crowdfunding platforms, as they predominantly focus on managing monetary contributions. Nonetheless, there are segments of the population who require the donation of goods due to difficulties in managing unused items and a preference for ensuring that donated items serve their intended purpose. This background necessitates the development of an interaction design for incorporating the donation of goods on crowdfunding platforms. The primary objective of this research is to explore and identify the challenges and design considerations related to digital donation features for goods. Employing a user-centered design approach, based on the ISO 9241-210:2019 method, the study follows a four-stage development process that prioritizes user needs and preferences. The culmination of this research effort is a highfidelity interactive prototype that achieves usability goals related to effectiveness and utility, as well as user experience goals associated with helpfulness and enjoyment. The evaluation of the prototype's effectiveness and user experience employs usability testing methods, including interviews, Single Ease Question (SEQ) surveys, and the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results of the second iteration of testing indicate that the constructed interaction design successfully addresses the predefined usability and user experience goals. Moreover, this phase of testing generates valuable insights that can inform future design recommendations. text
