One of them is the presence of range anxiety experienced by consumers. One of the alternative solution to minimize this phenomenon is the development of an accurate vehicle range estimation feature, which generally nowadays lacks sufficient accuracy. Therefore, this study discusses the development of a dynamic model for electric vehicles that is able to accurately estimate vehicle energy consumption. The developed model is also used for design optimization purposes, with a study case of a medium-sized electric bus developed by the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). text
