In order to achieve successful therapy for both diseases, medication adherence is needed because the disease is chronic. One of the interventions that can be done to increase adherence is education. Education is provided in a booklet with hope that Prolanis patients who are satisfied with the booklet will also have high adherence. Therefore, this study was conducted to evaluate the satisfaction level of Prolanis patients with the booklet given, determine the effect of giving the booklet on medication adherence, and determine the correlation between satisfaction and adherence. The study was conducted in an observational cross-sectional in January-May 2023. Medication adherence was measured before being given the booklet then the medication adherence and satisfaction were measured again within a period of 4-8 weeks. The MMAS-8 compliance questionnaire and the SERVQUAL-based satisfaction questionnaire were used in this study. Bivariate analysis used the Wilcoxon test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Mann-Whitney test, and inferential analysis used the Spearman's rank correlation test. The average satisfaction at Puskesmas Pasundan was 92.86% with CSI of 87.02% (very satisfied) and Puskesmas Ibrahim Adjie was 96.18% with CSI of 90.36% (very satisfied). According to respondents at both puskesmas, the priority for booklet’s improvement is the size of the letters in the booklet. The booklet is proven to increase Prolanis patient’s adherence at both puskesmas (p = <0.001) and is not affected by demographic characteristics. There is a poor correlation between booklet’s satisfaction and medication adherence at both puskesmas, with r = 0.202 at Puskesmas Pasundan and r = 0.142 for Puskesmas Ibrahim Adjie. text
