Dalam rangka melakukan optimalisasi sumber daya, PT ABC juga berencana memanfaatkan material sisa hasil pengolahan yang selama ini ditimbun kembali sebagai material backfill yaitu pasir kuarsa. Hal tersebut dilakukan untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (Permen ESDM) Nomor 25 Tahun 2018. Parameter geoteknik menjadi hal yang krusial dalam menunjang operasi penambangan pasir kuarsa tersebut sehingga diperlukan analisis kestabilan lereng agar sesuai dengan Keputusan Menteri Energi dan Sumber daya Mineral Nomor 1827K/30/MEM/2018. Analisis kestabilan lereng dilakukan pada desain ultimate pit limit dengan menggunakan metode kesetimbangan batas Bishop dan asumsi longsoran sirkular dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Slide 6.0. Parameter analisis kestabilan lereng tersebut dilakukan dengan nilai Hu sebesar 0,8 serta pembebanan seismik sebesar 0,01g. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa seluruh lereng pada Blok L, B, S, T dan M tergolong aman karena memenuhi nilai minimal faktor keamanan lereng. Nilai FK statis berada pada rentang 1,21 – 2,43 sedangkan FK dinamis berada pada rentang 1,17 – 2,3. Rekomendasi sudut lereng tunggal dihasilkan dari grafik Hoek and Bray Chart no. 4. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh rekomendasi lereng tunggal untuk Blok L, B, S, T dan M adalah tinggi 5 m, dengan kemiringan antara 35° - 60°. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa untuk setiap kondisi lereng, nilai faktor keamanan telah memenuhi ketentuan sesuai dengan Keputusan Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral Nomor 1827K/30/MEM/2018. Oleh karena itu, tambang pasir kuarsa PT ABC yang berlokasi di Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dapat beroperasi dengan aman hingga akhir masa tambang (LOM) berdasarkan aspek geoteknik. Geotechnical parameters are crucial in supporting the quartz sand mining operation, hence slope stability analysis is required to comply with the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree Number 1827K/30/MEM/2018. Slope stability analysis is conducted on the ultimate pit limit design using the Bishop's Limit Equilibrium method and assuming circular failures using Slide 6.0 software. The geotechnical parameters for slope stability analysis are carried out with a Hu value of 0.8 and seismic loading of 0.01g. The analysis results indicate that all slopes in L, B, S, T, and M Blocks are considered safe as they meet the minimum values for slope safety factor. The static safety factor (FK static) ranges from 1.21 to 2.43, while the dynamic safety factor (FK dinamic) ranges from 1.17 to 2.3. The recommended single slope angle is derived from Hoek and Bray Chart no. 4. Based on the conducted analysis, a recommended single slope for L, B, S, T, and M Block is 5 m high, with a slope inclination between 35° - 60°. The analysis shows that for every slope condition, the safety factor values have met the requirements as stated in the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree Number 1827K/30/MEM/2018. Therefore, PT ABC's quartz sand mine located in the Bangka Belitung Islands can operate safely until the end of the life of mine (LOM) based on geotechnical aspects. text
