Description
Summary:The Bintaro Community and Creative Center building is designed as an infrastructure for collaborative creative economic activities aimed at addressing the gated community phenomenon in the Bintaro area, South Tangerang. The final project aims to design the foundation capable of supporting the structural load and designing retaining walls for the basement excavation process. Two types of foundations are used: driven pile foundations, 22 meters deep with a diameter of 0.6 meters, and bored pile foundations, also 22 meters deep but with a diameter of 0.8 meters. The foundation design involves analyzing the axial load capacity of single and grouped piles, lateral load capacity analysis of piles using the LPILE software, lateral load capacity analysis of grouped piles using the GROUP software, settlement and differential settlement analysis of the foundations, reinforcement design of the bored pile foundations and pile caps, as well as the design of tie beams. Two pile cap configurations are designed for the building at elevation 0 meters, and three pile cap configurations are designed for the basement at elevation -8 meters. The basement of the Bintaro Community and Creative Center building consists of 2 floors, each with a height of 4 meters, requiring an excavation depth of 8 meters. A retaining wall with soil nailing reinforcement is chosen, considering the soil conditions and construction methods. Stability analysis for the excavation stages and stability of the soil nailing retaining wall is performed using the PLAXIS 2D software. Based on the analysis results, soil nailing with a length of 8 meters and a borehole diameter of 0.2 meters is required, reinforced with 29 millimeter nail bar reinforcement. The face cover is designed using a 0.1-meter thick shotcrete wall reinforced with wire mesh. Dewatering before excavation is carried out using the wellpoint method through 45 points.
