INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/77693 Environmental issues require immediate attention and commitment from individuals, communities, and institutions. Universities have a crucial role in fostering a pro- environmental mindset among students. The extended theory of planned behavior (TPB) helps understand pro-environmental intentions and actions by considering factors such as attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, trust, and risk perception. This thesis explores these factors and their impact on university students' pro-environmental behavior. Descriptive analysis shows that only gender and faculty studied are showing significant difference. The inferential analysis reveals that PCA results best with percent cumulative above 50% despite having more factor representing variables. In this research it was found that independent variables of intention are 72.2% contributed by the dependent variables. All variables are simultaneously contributing towards intention with most significant variable being are subjective norm practicality (SN3), attitude based on social concern(A1), attitude based on biospheric concern(A2), perceived behavioral control in all variables (motivational, community, individual and potential based) and trust in academic. text |
