Unforeseen types of events can disrupt the production process which results in non-fulfillment of production targets. One type of event that cannot be predicted is the entry of a high priority order. The production system must be able to adapt quickly to manage this type of event so that the production process can run normally. However, currently the production element does not yet have the intelligence to manage events that have never been predicted before. In meeting production demands and overcoming all production disruptions, it can be done by developing flexible, autonomous, and intelligent controllers. Based on these three capabilities, it is expected that the production system can respond to unplanned events and be able to schedule production independently. By utilizing the SPTM concept as well as the CVWs (Configurable Virtual Workstation) framework, a job shop production scheduling system can be developed so that scheduling can improve the efficiency of the production process. The results obtained from this study are the development of forward scheduling digitalization in the job shop production area with high priority order case studies successfully carried out. This is proven by testing the results of the scheduling program for several case studies and it was found that the scheduling results met several predetermined criteria. Testing is conducted by scheduling products with normal status, scheduling the addition of normal products, and scheduling for high priority products. In addition, the resulting scheduling system can produce operational scheduling in a very short time or less than one second. text |
