The Cikoneng Ciparay Water Treatment Plant consists of WTP 1, WTP 2 and WTP 3 with a capacity of 200 l/s, 50 l/s and 150 l/s.Along with the increasing population in Bandung districts, it is comparable to the increasing water needs of the community. So it is necessary to increase the quantity of processed WTP Cikoneng Ciparay. Based on the projection of water demand in 2033, an additional discharge of 437 lps is needed to meet the water needs of the service area. This study aims to increase the capacity of the Cikoneng Ciparay Water Treatment Plant through evaluation and development (uprating). The research focuses on increasing the processing discharge of WTP 3 Because WTP 3 has the potency to have greater capacity then WTP 1 based on WTP 3's dimension that’s bigger than WTP 1 dimensionTo improve service and meet the community's clean water needs, WTP 3's capacity needs to be improved from 150 lps to 200 lps. Evaluation is carried out on coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration and reservoir units based on design criteria and pay attention to the quality of raw water and production water tested in accordance with PERMENKES 492/2010. Based on consideration of alternative selection parameters, including technical construction, operational disruptions, construction costs, operational costs and land needs, selected alternatives were obtained, namely maximizing capacity based on unit capabilities and adding similar units. Therefore, to meet the water capacity of 200 lps, a similar unit with a capacity of 50 lps was added. The units built have the same configuration, namely coagulation units that use baffles and PAC coagulants, hexagonal flocculation units, sedimentation units equipped with tube settlers, and filtration units. Based on the results of analysis and calculations, it is concluded that this project is feasible with an investment cost of Rp 8.200.000.000 and operational cost per year of Rp 4.753.536.797. text |
