Geometry is a mathematical topic that is consistently taught at every educational level during compulsory schooling. Nevertheless, difficulties in students' understanding of geometry are still prevalent. Therefore, this research aims to develop an educational game as an alternative teaching method to enhance the interest, motivation, and comprehension of 6th-grade elementary school students in the subject of geometry. The ADDIE method is employed in the development of this educational game, involving various stages ranging from analysis, design, development, and implementation to evaluation. This method provides a structured and directed framework, encompassing a broader spectrum of aspects for developing and assessing the game as a learning medium. The game was tested on 33 6th-grade students at Layungsari State Elementary School in Tasikmalaya City. The results of the analysis indicate that the use of educational games increases students' interest and motivation in learning compared to conventional teaching methods. This is evident in the average interest score of students when using the game, which is 17.36, while the average score before using the game was only 14.09 out of a total score of 20. This educational game is also effective in enhancing students' understanding of geometry, as seen in the average post-treatment test score, which is 75.41, while the average post-control test score is only 54.11. Furthermore, 93.3% of students evaluate that this educational game can be an alternative method for learning geometry and can provide added value by delivering interactive, engaging, and challenging lessons for students. text
