Description
Summary:Virtual reality (VR) has shown exciting potential in revolutionizing the learning paradigm by providing interactive and immersive experiences. There are many solutions for learning and meetings in VR, but most of them are offered by paid third parties and do not provide open- source code. Additionally, these solutions often lack features for evaluating learning, such as quizzes. This research aims to propose a VR-based virtual classroom application developed with Unity and self-hosted, while also providing quizzes for learning evaluation. Users can experience a carefully designed virtual classroom, complete with elements like desks and whiteboards through VR devices. This research focuses on the development aspect of the VR classroom and the implementation of features such as real-time multiplayer, voice communication, whiteboard functionality, and quiz system integration, enabling instructors to present questions relevant to the subject matter and provide instant feedback to users. By combining all these elements, it is expected that the development of this VR classroom application will offer a more interactive, collaborative, and effective learning experience in the VR environment.
