To accurately assess mining progress, the company employs two existing methods: the weighbridge method and the survey method, estimated through cut and fill techniques. In this research, an additional approach for determining mining progress is introduced the truck ritase and survey method, estimated using crosssectional analysis. This study is centered around the month of May 2023, within the scope of one of the company's Mining Business Licences for Production Operation (IUP OP), specifically IUP OP Tlogowaru, pertaining to clay mining commodities. Research findings indicate that the tonnages of mined clay using the survey (processed by cut and fill and cross section), weighbridge, and truck ritase methods are 60,849 tons, 62,060 tons, 57,252 tons, and 57,320 tons, respectively. Meanwhile, mining recovery based on the comparison methods of cut and fill to weighbridge, cut and fill to truck ritase, cross section to weighbridge, and cut and fill to truck ritase are 94.09%, 94.20%, 92.25%, dan 92.36%, respectively. The differences in tonnage results among these methods stem from factors like pointing procedures and conditions, density variations, calibration of survey tools and weighbridges, presence of moisture or water in materials, material spillage on hauling routes or weighbridges, accuracy of weighing and ritase data, dump truck payload capacities, and the number of bucket fillings. text |
