Tourism is able to increase local and national revenues. The government is currently declaring ten new bali to improve the reliability of tourism in Indonesia. Rural-based tourism, through ten new bali government aims to attract domestic and foreign tourists to the existing tours in Indonesia, resulting in an increase in the number of tourist visits. It is intended to assist the government in increasing national and local revenue through the tourism sector. In fact, the increase in the number of domestic tourists is does not have a big effect on the country's foreign exchange, but the increase of the number of domestic tourists is very influential to increase local revenue, so as to improve the welfare of the community. This study was conducted to see how the intention of the domestic tourists to visit the Danau Toba tourism which is included in the new ten bali. In addition, in this study will see the factors that can affect the domestic tourists to visit a tourist place which can be used as an improvement of tourist attractions. This research is done by using quantitative method. The data obtained from the questionnaire distributed to the respondents through social media. The questionnaire was created using an online survey platform called GoogleForm, which makes it easier for researchers to collect data. Using the convenience sampling method, the questionnaire focuses on people who interested in tourism and aged from 17 years old to 60 years old. The number of sample in this research is 286 respondents. Data processing is done by using Structural Equation Model (SEM) as measurement model in this research. There are five independent variables and one dependent variable. From the measurement results will be seen how the influence of the five independent variables to the dependent variable. The results of this study are four independent variables can significantly influence the dependent variable. That is, the desire of tourists to visit Danau Toba is good, with the support of several factors such as attractions, personal motivation, place attachment, and promotion. This research is not spread in all regions in Indonesia but only in ten provinces stated that the people often make tourist visits. text
