Summary:Every entrepreneur has the desire to make start-up grow. The start-up can grow to depend on the individual that running the business and functional areas of business. Laukeen is a culinary start-up that produces fish processing, especially for a frozen food product. Rizki think that frozen food will be chosen by peoples who want eat with a simple way and easy to keep just put in the freezer. But, Laukeen experienced stagnancy and vacuum that make the owner necessary an evaluation. This research is focusing on determine factors that making start-up grow and compare performance Laukeen and Bau Duren to find solutions and the result will implement to Laukeen. The researcher using in-depth interview, observation, field notes, documentation and transcription, and questionnaire to gather data. To analyze the data, the researcher uses descriptive comparative that use the ordinal method with scale 1-5. Based on the result Laukeen needs improving soon in entrepreneurial competencies that consist 3 indicators that are inner discipline, creativity & innovative, and achievement oriented. Also, Laukeen need improve in functional areas of business that related to efficient and effective facilities.
