Summary:Food is one of the primary need of man to continue to do activities and to maintain its welfare. Cooking and dining which become a primary activity of man, that have rooted and later on become a part of their culture itself. Food also takes part as an identity and a characteristic of a certain culture, so it’s not surprising that its existence became important in the heart of the communities life. <br /> <br /> <br /> Since the prehistoric ages, where man learns to create fire, seems to be the start of the advancement of the technology for culinary processing until today. Cooking process and technique have been developing rapidly resulting the variety of food. This is where the point of interest of culinary, where the technique and processing of the food becomes an interesting activity to observe. <br /> <br /> <br /> From this point of interest, a Culinary Center is present to facilitate the needs of the community for many aspects regarding with culinary. Not only is it related to food, here the activity of cooking can be an activity for education also recreational to increase the knowledge of the community in an interesting package. The design concept of the culinary center is the answer to the interior design planning from the combination of the variety of activities together, that is the educational activity and recreational activity, in the culinary context.
