To make its products, PT FMC has several production lines. One of them is line robotic. Line robotic is a line that carries out product repackaging activities with the help of robots. PT FMC uses this line to produce two of its flagship products. Therefore, line robotics must work properly so that the company can fulfill all of the demands. Line robotic performance can be measured using overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). In 2020, line robotic hadn't been able to reach the OEE target. It indicates that there are things that hinder the repackaging activities. By using Pareto, nine activities have the potential to be improved. Of the nine activities, two of them are the company's priority to make improvements. The two activities are changeover and equipment breakdown. Proposed improvements given to achieve the OEE target are as follows. Set time standards for the changeover stages, installing a water faucet on the mixing tank, dividing tasks, and installing a bottle cap filter on the machine. That way, changeover time is reduced to 320 minutes. And the robocapper machine stopped during production activities is expected to be reduced by at least 50% from the initial condition. OEE is estimated to increase by 2,2% if the proposed improvements are implemented. text
