Summary:Lembar Port is one of the ports managed by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) which is located in Lembar District, West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. This port is designed as a gateway for connectivity to and from Lombok Island in order to support the growth of economic activities and hinterland tourism activities on the island which has been a favorite for domestic and foreign tourists. In 2015, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) has built the Gilimas Terminal which can accommodate cruise ships (Oasis of the Seas) along 362 m and container ships with a capacity of 1500 TEUs. In this Final Project, a layout design and dredging work will be carried out for the shipping channel and the Lembar Port turning pool with a container ship plan similar to the Gilimas Terminal plan ship to help the Gilimas Terminal container operations in the future. The analysis was conducted using AutoCAD software to design the layout and calculate the dredging volume of the shipping channel and rotary pool based on environmental data, especially bathymetry and soil types on the seabed around the waters of Lembar Port. After that, an analysis was carried out to obtain the type and number of dredgers needed, then ended with the calculation of cost estimates.
