Summary: | In increasing income, an individual or a company will do various ways to increase
maximum profit for their business or business. Many ways or strategies can be done
to increase profits in business. One way to increase profits is by conducting
promotional activities. With promotion, business actors will incur a number of costs
in order to get a return that is more than the costs incurred. These expenses can be
said to be a form of investment that has a return with each level of risk. In
optimizing these problems, the Markowitz model is a model that can be
implemented in this problem. This Markowitz model can not only optimize
maximum return with the desired risk , but the Markowitz model can also optimize
minimum risk with the desired return. This model can also be applied in the field
of sales, of course with the modified Markowitz model. The modification of the
Markowitz model in the business field is expected to help business people
determine the allocation of promotional costs so that they can get maximum
returns. The data used is in the form of 4 SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) with different
numbers of items. Of the four SKUs used, the optimal combination is obtained by
involving goods in the Low category for the first SKU and the High category in
the third SKU. |
