Description
Summary:In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, a significant paradigm shift in technology has occurred, particularly in terms of interactivity. This change has had a profound impact on various aspects of society, including the development of children. This research focuses on the design of interactive digital music games aimed at stimulating the gross motor skills development of children aged 4-6. This age range plays a crucial role in a child's development, involving the active development of gross motor skills and cognitive abilities. In this digital era, children are often captivated by technology and video games, reducing their interest in physical activities. This study recognizes the potential in this phenomenon by integrating captivating music into interactive technology-based games. The game design concept emphasizes the integration of sound and musical elements as motivational tools for children in physical activities. The idea involves the use of digital musical instruments that enable physical interaction among children and their playmates, presenting challenging elements to maintain their interest. Furthermore, this game design serves as an appealing alternative for children amidst the dominance of digital technology in their daily lives.
