Summary: | Based on the memorization habits of students in Islamic boarding schools,
memorization activities are carried out formally and informally. Formal
memorization activities are carried out in the classroom. Meanwhile, non-formal
memorization activities are carried out in other areas such as empty classrooms,
mosques, dormitories, parks, courtyards and other outside environments. This
study aims to examine the comparison of the condition of the Qur'an memorization
room in closed space (indoor) and open space (outdoor) to the success and quality
of memorization of students. This study was conducted through a simulative
experiment with a comparison situation of two memorization classrooms indoors
and outdoors. The experiment was conducted on 10 students who memorized the
Qur'an aged 12-16 years at Ma'had Tahfizul Qur'an Tarbiyah Sunnah – Batujajar.
Quantitative experimental data collection was carried out through Likert
questionnaires with descriptive analysis methods and ANOVA statistical tests to
determine differences in influence between variable indicators. The results showed
that there was an influence of location selection (indoor and outdoor) and the use
of sitting facilities, on the comfort and focus of students during the memorization
process. This result is shown from the results of the One Way ANOVA Test which
has a significance value of 0.000<0.05. Specifically, the authors can draw
conclusions that location selection (indoor and outdoor) and the use of sitting
facilities show a much better response at the level of memorization of students. This
is evidenced by the large number of Memorization that has been done by students,
especially in outdoor locations using chairs compared to other conditions. |
