This study aims to analyze the adoption of electric vehicles for supply chain management networks including the potential, challenges, and future research for supply chain management networks. The method used in this research is a systematic literature review by Tranfield et al 2003 to present a comprehensive and objective understanding of the research topic being studied. The results of this study show that the use of electric vehicles can minimize logistics costs through fuel efficiency, regenerative braking, and energy optimization. Furthermore, EVs contribute to sustainability by reducing carbon emissions. Overall, EV adoption presents opportunities for innovation and optimization in supply chain management networks. However, there are challenges that need to be addressed, such as limited coverage, charging infrastructure that is not yet fully developed, higher initial costs, and policy and regulatory changes. Efficient energy management is also critical to optimizing the cost of electric vehicles in the supply chain, through proper charging practices and the use of regenerative features to charge batteries efficiently. text
