Summary: | This research delves into the main challenges in the manufacturing industry, focusing on the Packing Line stage, where production scheduling is key to achieving the company's output target On Time In Full (OTIF) while minimizing production costs. By utilizing a mathematical approach through optimization models that combine Integer Programming, Diophantine method, and binary variable, this study aims to design an optimal production schedule while considering critical factors such as machine operating time, changeover placement, and operational costs. In this context, the research highlights the importance of presenting solutions that are not only mathematically effective but also practical and implementable in real industrial environments. By providing detailed production schedules, this research makes a significant contribution to enhancing efficiency and productivity in the manufacturing process. The use of computational technology in the form of graphs and graphical user interfaces enables active user participation in production scheduling, which can enhance the success of the resulting solutions. Therefore, this research not only provides new insights into production scheduling but also lays a practical foundation for the development and implementation of better solutions in the manufacturing industry as a whole. |
