Summary: | Kertapati pier is one of the unit operations of PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk,
which handles the final processing and shipment of coal to the barge. Starting in
2008, production of passing coal at Kertapati Pier is gradually increased from 2.5
million tonnes to 2.7 million tonnes per year until the end of 2014. To follow the
increase of production, Kertapati Pier should be able to prepare existing facilities and
infrastructure.
Based on conducted research know the pass productivity of pier today is
503.7 tons / hour with 15 hours of effective working hours, this rate is still below the
target of productivity that can be achieved from the installation conditions of 1000
tons / hour by hours worked effectively dismantling of 12 hours. It happened due to
less optimal loading of the existing production process, a decrease in production
capacity of some tools are not ideal conditions during the production activity takes
place. So to increase the pass production target, in this research is done by analyzing
the maximum productivity tool and then made several attempts to achieve production
of 3 million tons / year. Based on the analysis of production factors, know that to
achieve the target at 3 million tons can be done by: optimizing load production
processes with use of the principle of match factor, adding and Mannering of coal by
added 29% coal from the current state of 2,144,268 tons, the addition and supervision
of laborer, from 4 people to 6 people and make the most of the production plan. It
was found that the optimal value at a daily production plan for achieving 3 million
tons / year amounting to 12.6 hours for the production of demolition and 14 hours for
production of shipments. |
