But over time, traditional market snacks began to be replaced due to the emergence of food and snacks from abroad and the reduction of these food producers, so that traditional snacks began to be rarely found in the market. There is a need for alternative things that can help introduce traditional market snacks. Lolita as a Japanese fashion subculture inspired by Rococo era fashion is a medium of self-expression for its users and also a medium of communication. Using a textile craft approach, this research adapts the visuals of traditional market snacks, especially Betawi, as the design of the Lolita subculture fesyen collection using surface design techniques with the aim of using new media, namely fashion, to promote and introduce Indonesian market snacks as Indonesian cultural wealth that should be preserved and maintained. text |
