In this final assignment, a mathematical model of the dynamics of rice distribution in Indonesia will be constructed. After that, model analysis was carried out, and the influence of rice distribution parameters was examined. Control strategies are carried out to optimize the distribution of rice. In this research, a quantitative approach was used by creating mathematical models, model analysis, numerical simulations, and rice distribution control strategies. The data used is BULOG rice data obtained from the 2017–2021 BULOG annual report and the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) website. In this final project, four rice distribution rate parameters are used, namely ????????,????????,????????,????????. The distribution rate of PSO and commercial rice from factories to distributors is expressed in ???????? and ????????, respectively. The distribution rate of PSO and commercial rice from distributors to the market is expressed in ???????? and ????????, respectively. The results of this final assignment show that the lower the rice distribution rate parameter value (????????,????????,????????,????????), the higher the amount of rice in factories and distributors, and vice versa. In contrast to what happens in factories and distributors, the lower the rice distribution rate parameter value (????????,????????,????????,????????), the lower the amount of rice on the market. The best control strategy that can be used to optimize the amount of rice in factories, distributors, and markets is control strategy 1, namely that the distributor's weight value is made the smallest. To maximize the amount of rice in the distributor with a cost function that is not too large, the best control strategy is control strategy 1, namely that the distributor's weight value is made the smallest. If we look at the distribution operational costs incurred, the control strategy with the smallest costs is control strategy 2. However, control strategy 2 is not effective because the behavior of ???? in this strategy is slightly different, and the simulation results for ????,????,???? also do not show any differences. significant difference between the amount of rice before and after being controlled.. text |
