Chemical composition of the sample has been analyzed by X-ray tluoresence (XRF), mineralogical composition by X-ray diffraction (XRD), meanwhile its water continent and lost of ignition (LOI) has been studied gravimetrically. In this research the surface activity of natural and activated bentonite has been characterized to the Agg and Cu2+ ion. The results showed that the capacity of activated bentonite better than natural bentonite especially to the Cu2+ ion. text
