Data from two drill-off test sessions were analyzed using regression to determine the relationship between RPM, WOB, and ROP to obtain the optimum combination of drilling parameters. The analysis results show a significant relationship between RPM and WOB parameters on ROP. The optimization carried out is by choosing a combination of RPM and WOB to obtain the most efficient ROP based on the drill-off test that has been carried out. This paper provides an understanding of the influence of drilling parameters of RPM and WOB on ROP and optimization strategies that can be applied in the field. text
